Actually I don’t know about Kyoto very well. But I have heard Arashiyama is a good place for dating, hiking or sightseeing. And also I have heard in Fall is great season maybe because of lives. They are going to change color to red. So it will be very beautiful. I have never been there but it’s easy to image. If I have free time, I want to go to Arashiyama once.

It certainly is a picturesque place! Apparently if you head up the river a few kilometers, there are some spectacular canyon views with lots of rapids and rough water. One of my friends has a country home on one of the tributaries of that river in the north of Kyoto. It is called Suisenkyo.
